Injection Lipolysis

Get rid of those unwanted FAT pockets from double chin, jowl, upper arm and thighs.

Injection lipolysis or mesotherapy, is a non-invasive procedure that requires multiple fine injections of active ingredients into the treatment area beneath the skin to seemingly melt away fat and expel it from the body.

The theory behind lipolysis is that together the ingredients cause fat to liquefy, dissolve and be eliminated from the body. Various ingredients may be used including combinations of vitamins and certain medications, depending upon the particular clinical condition(fat dissolve/face glow/hair regrowth).

The cosmetic application of injection lipolysis in our clinic includes removal of small, stubborn, unwanted pockets of fat that are resistant to diet and exercise.

Areas Treated

This can be effective used to treat following areas

  • Double Chin
  • Jowl
  • Neck
  • Heavy Cheeks
  • Upper Arms
  • Love Handles/Flanks
  • Abdomen
  • Thigh
 Advantages

Unlike surgery, these treatments are usually relatively simple, require no post-operative recovery time, require no heavy bandages or garments, and no anaesthesia is necessary.

Possibilities & Limitations

This therapy can help you to get rid of smaller deposits of fat that are susceptible neither to change in diet nor special exercise. Following liposuction therapy, injection lipolysis can be used as a means for dealing with any remaining fat deposits as well as smoothing out bumps.Injection lipolysis should be combined with a healthy lifestyle including a sensible exercise and dietary program for optimal results.

Lipolysis is not suitable for general weight reduction or for treating obesity. Injection lipolysis may be combined with ACUPUNCTURE to reduce appetite and sweet craving for best results.

Sessions Required

Treatments consist of 2 to 6 sessions approximately 2 to 6 weeks apart, depending upon healing and ingredients used. The number of treatments and the time it takes to see results may vary based on the areas being treated and the severity of the problem. Many patients see a result after the second treatment, although for optimal results extra treatments may be required.

Side Effects

Following each treatment localized swelling, redness and a light burning sensation is expected and usually lasts 12 to 24 hours. A more persistent low grade reaction phase consisting of firmness or thickening then occurs, usually lasting for approximately three weeks.
