Duration of Procedure and Downtime
The peel procedure usually takes about 30 minutes to complete and you are free to leave the clinic immediately after peel. The downtime includes dryness and exfoliation of skin and depends upon the type of peel used. The softer peels have little or no downtime while stronger peels require 5 to 7 days of recovery period.
